I really enjoy surprise teamups and a Karizma song produced by Simba Tagz is exactly that! Karizzy has been on an upward trajectory of late having had his songs featured on the hit series, MTV Shuga – Down South. This is a significant achievement and is one of those game-changing moves that leads the way as a template for other Zimbabwean artists to follow. This is also stuff that, we, as Zimbabweans should also be documenting for years to come.

I know Karizma has come a long way from hits like Hands Up, Tsvarakadenga and more recently Shisha Pipe. This time around he challenges himself to something even more out of the box with an Afrobeats inspired beat that steps away from the boom bap. The sound is obviously quite popular right now with stringy chords, deep bass and African drums that just make you wanna move. Simba Tagz has made a name for himself across Africa as one of the most sought after producers and this is a single that will increase his demand. Essentially, this is a match made in heaven and I can see this song going places. Karizzy, can we get a video to match?
